On October 9, 2025, SWIARC took possession of the 442.075 from John KBØQKH, who had received it from Greg NØGR.

The tower is located south of Minden, Iowa. The elevation of the tower is 1348 ft. (411 M)

On Oct 18th, we went out there to inspect the repeater and its components.

It is currently at a club member’s QTH is being worked on and gone through before putting it back into service.

On Nov 15th, eight crew members, including TYG, who took the pic, went out to install a new UHF beam pointing towards Council Bluffs and a new diplexer, and found that we also had to replace the man-made J-pole antenna with a dual-band vertical antenna for APRS use.
