SWIARC Field Day 2019 wrap up

Southwest Iowa Amateur Radio Club took to the field with 8 operators and 20 participants. Operations were conducted from the McClelland IA city park. Multiple antennas were used throughout the day including 80m and 40m dipoles, 20m end fed and Buddi Pole, 10m beam on 20’ trailer-mounted tower, dual-band VHF/UHF Yagis along with numerous other portable antennas including an 18-foot multi-band crappie pole antenna. Good food, 526 contacts across 46 states, Canada and the Pacific. All in all a good day in the woods. A complete scoring summary is as follows:
